🌟 Meet GeoVision's Intern of the Year 2023: Stefano Angelucci, from Italy 🇮🇹, our Biomedical Engineering Intern extraordinaire! 🏆

Stefano is not just mastering the art of preparing presentations to guide groundbreaking research in his field; he's immersing himself in a world of learning, from modeling to scientific writing, all while soaking up the vibrant tapestry of New York's cultural mosaic. 🗽

"On my program, I am learning to prepare presentations in order to map out the knowledge gaps to guide research in the field. I’m looking forward to gaining more skills in modeling, simulation, interpretation of results, scientific writing and oral exposition of contents. The most beneficial aspect of my experience so far is learning about American work culture and the different cultures that co-exist in New York. I have gone to a Lebanese BBQ party, visited NYC attractions, attended Columbia University engineering classes my supervisor teaches and attended ethnic music concerts. "

Supervisor, Nicolas Chbat, CEO of Quadrus Medical Technologies said: “Stefano has really been a pleasure to host. He jumps at the opportunity to help a colleague in need, whether the reason is scientific or logistical or personal. His scientific contributions are one of a kind. He is on the verge to extend a cardiopulmonary mathematical model to include renal dynamics. As we know the kidneys are real vital organs although they are quieter than their neighbors (heart & lungs). His initial results are already impressive. He attended one of the classes that I teach at Columbia Univ - weekly. His numerous cultural expeditions to several areas of the state of New York are delightful to hear and re-live. He truly enjoys his weekend trips and tells us about them during Monday lunches. He's a great addition to the group insofar as adding positivity and gaiety. I can say many more positive things about him but this is the essential. I'm very happy with his performance. Thank you for sponsoring him!”
